CityTribe ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app and website.

2. Information We Collect

Name, username, email, phone number, profile photo
Date of birth, city, interests and preferences
Posts, stories, messages, comments you create
Payment info (processed by Stripe — we never store card details)
Device type, IP address, usage data, push notification tokens

3. How We Use Your Information

Create and manage your account
Show relevant events, plans, and people in your city
Process ticket bookings and payments
Send notifications, reminders, and confirmations
Improve the app and prevent fraud

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share only with: payment processors (Stripe), cloud infrastructure (AWS), analytics tools (Firebase), and when required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Access, correct, or delete your personal data
Opt out of marketing communications
Request a portable copy of your data
Delete your account via Settings → Delete Account

7. Children's Privacy

CityTribe is not intended for users under 13. Users aged 13–18 require parental consent.

We use HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls to protect your data.
